I have worked at Swimbrite for several years and I am very passionate about seeing children and adults develop at all stages.
I have recently been promoted to Swim School Manager and I am incharge of the well being of the staff, children and parents.
Swim School Coordinator
I have recently joined Swimbrite full time and teach as well as coordinate the swimming lessons. I love teaching children and adults and watch them progress from beginners to advance swimmers.
I have been teaching swimming for the last 4 years. I was a late starter in learning to swim but once I learnt I progressed really quickly.
I went on to swim for city of Wakefield . I am now a mum of 3 children so swimming and safety in water is paramount. I am also a lifeguard, which I have done from been 18.
I love seeing the progression from scared children who cling to you for dear life to been over confident blossoming swimmers. I also love teaching adults who feel embarrased and nervous that they cannot swim at their age. its a good feeling. I love my job xx
I have been teaching with swimbrite for over three years. I am passionate about teaching swimming to babies and children of all ages.
I’m currently studying for my BSc in Sport Coaching and will complete my masters once my degree is finished.
I get great satisfaction from teaching and coaching swimming especially helping swimmers of all abilities develop and improve further. I have worked with many different adults and children helping them achieve their goals, achieving awards and giving them a swimming life skill.
I have been teaching with Swimbrite for the past three years and love every minute. Being able to teach children the techniques to develop a major life skill is so rewarding.
I passionately believe that being active is invaluable for every child in their development and it is great to see them enjoy and achieve, in swimming.
I’m originally from London but currently studying events management at the university of Huddersfield.
I began swimming at a very young age and by the age of 8 I was competing for the south of England. I gave up swimming for A levels and have been teaching ever since.
I am currently studying for a BA(Hons) in Events Management at Leeds Beckett University, following this I will proceed to complete my Masters.
I have spent two summers in America and Canada teaching sports including swimming at camps in Toronto and Utah during the summer. During this time, I taught children and young adults from various backgrounds and abilities. I thrive off seeing individuals progress into confident swimmers!
My role at Swimbrite is to help around pool side and to assist the teachers in the water. I am a keen swimmer myself so love to share my passion for swimming with the children.
I am passionate about swimming and train to do triathlons. I love to pass my knowledge of swimming onto children and adults of all abilities.
I am currently studying my MA in Physical education, building upon my Ba (Hons) in PE. I have taught and coached swimming since 2012, from international summer schools to 1-2-1 basis, including a full range of abilities and ages.
I strongly believe in creating a fun, safe environment within lessons is key, not only for enjoyment but their progression too. Seeing a child develop, grow and learn is priceless.
