The lesson slot is yours for as long as you wish to stay with us or until your child moves to another class or another time. If you decide not to renew please notify the office team straight away. Renewal reminders will be sent automatically towards the end of term. You will pay online via the home portal. There will be a two week priority period for current members to secure their slot for the next term. Once this two weekperiod ends any places not secured with payment become available to new enquiries. If you do not pay on time you will automatically be removed and your place will no longer be available. We do not accept AMEX cards. Please note fees are subject to change.

You will NOT be entitled to a refund under any circumstances.  We do not run any catch up lessons. Any lessons that you do not attend will be lost and will not be carried forward. In the case of long term medical reasons it is at a managers discretion as to whether we can honour the lessons. A doctors note may be required. 

Swimbrite Swimming School reserves the right to change or cancel a course at anytime including day/time/venue and teacher. Arrangements will be made to re-schedule where possible.

All instructors hold a current DBS and are qualified and experienced swimming teachers and hold the relevant Swim England / STA certificate(s). As some physical contact with your child is unavoidable all staff adhere to the Swim England Wavepower.

If an instructor is unwell or cannot attend a session, Swimbrite Swimming School will endeavour to provide a cover teacher. However this cannot always be guaranteed.

In the event of adverse weather conditions please contact the venue before arriving to your lesson. Swimbrite will notify the venue if lessons are cancelled.

Please make sure you arrive for the teaching session on time.

If you have a medical condition, or for example, use an inhaler, please inform Swimbrite Swimming School and we will add this to your child’s medical records.

I declare my child to be in good health and physically able to participate in swimming lessons.

Persons who have consumed food within 1.5 hours should not use the pool.

The wearing of spectacles by a swimmer during a session is not recommended.

Swim Caps are required to be worn whilst swimming at Woodhouse Grove Schooland Bramhope Pool.

I understand that it is recommended by Swimbrite to bring my child in additional swimming garments to account for cooler temperature that may occur in the pool.

Jewellery can be a hazard and should not be warn during swimming.

All swimmers must wear suitable swimwear. For babies/toddlers that are still in nappies please use ‘aqua nappies’. Swimming goggles may be worn at the wearers own risk.


Use of the pool before and after lessons are prohibited unless you are a club member. Please contact a member of the team for special offers available to you.  Only enter the pool once your instructor has told you to. Listen to what your instructor tells you. If you don’t understand, please ask.
Once your child’s lesson has finished please vacate the pool. Children that are members can stay in the pool, providing they have an adult in the water supervising them. Always contingent upon children’s pool times for pool access.
For the safety of themselves and others, children under the age of 16 must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult.
Personal belongings are left at the owner’s risk.
Shoes must be removed or blue covers be worn before entering onto poolside.
No food, glassware or crockery is allowed within the pool premises and changing rooms. Plastic/ non breakable drinking vessels may be allowed.
Any devices such as Mobile phones, laptops, tablets etc should not be used on pool side and Photographs/ videos are not allowed before, during or after a session.
The instructors will assess the pupils and will inform you of any badges achieved. There will be an additional cost for the certificate/ badges.
Occasionally the Swimbrite team may wish to take photography/videos of the children. This is for marketing, social media and website purposes only. If you do not want your child photographed please email us.

An additional fee will be added at the point of booking to cover the cost of the certificate and badge achieved at the end of each term.

The terms below are an extension of the terms for the Village Hotel only.

Only one parent/guardian per family is allowed on pool side at any given time.

Blue cover shoes must be worn.

No food is allowed to be consumed in the changing rooms or on pool side.

On arrival of first lesson a ‘swim members card’ must be collected from the reception team at the Village. This allows access to the club during allocated swimming lesson time. The card is free however if lost the cost to replace is £2.50. This must be brought to every session in order to access the club.

For use of lockers at this venue a wristband is required. These are available to purchase from the Village Reception team at £2.50.

The terms below are an extension of the terms for the Parkway only.
The vanity area near the hairdryers is to be left free for members and hotel guests. The central changing area, benches and lockers are provided for your use.

Nappy bins must be used. They are located in the ladies toilet area and the family changing room. All other bins are for general waste.

Please shower before entering the swimming pool.

The Parkway have a mixture of padlocked and key lockers. They are able to sell you a padlock or you can bring your own. Locker keys are £5 to rent and your money will be returned to you if the key is not lost.
All items are left at your own risk.

Please ensure all children remain under your supervision at all times and are not using facilities available for members and adults only.

Please do not use the sun lounges these are for members and hotel guests to use

The terms below are an extension of the terms for the Bramhope pool only.

I understand that there is limited parking at this venue and should I be required to access the on street parking I understand this is done so at my own risk.

Declaration

I have noted where and when the children are to be returned and I understand that I am responsible for getting my child home safely from that place.

I consent for this information to be shared with only relevant parties (i.e. Welfare Lead, Safeguarding Officer, Emergency Services etc).

I consent to coaching staff taking photographs and video footage of my child.

I will ensure that any change in circumstances which will affect my child’s participation in training session will be notified to the coach prior to the visit.

I agree to my child’s participation in the activities provided.

I declare my child to be in good health and physically able to participate in all of the activities mentioned.

Swimming Equipment – Your child must bring their own swimming equipment to every lesson. No child will be able to enter the pool without the correct equipment.
