Children are grouped by ability and confidence, not just age. This means your child will always be with swimmers at a similar level, helping them feel comfortable, supported and able to progress at the right pace for them.
We understand — many children feel nervous at first, and that’s completely normal. Our instructors are experienced in helping anxious swimmers feel safe. Lessons are calm, encouraging and never rushed. We build trust gradually, so your child feels comfortable before we ask them to try anything new.
Most children’s lessons are 30 minutes, which is the ideal length to maintain focus and energy while making real progress. This keeps sessions enjoyable and effective.
Yes. Progress is aligned with the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework, and achievements are celebrated as children advance through each stage. This gives children clear goals and a sense of accomplishment.
Just swimwear, a towel, and goggles if they prefer them. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early so your child can get changed and feel settled before the lesson begins.
