At Swimbrite Swimming School, we believe learning to swim should feel safe, supportive and confidence-building — for swimmers of every age.
We’re a family-run swimming school based in Leeds, proudly helping babies, children and adults develop water confidence and strong swimming skills since 2008.
We’re not a franchise and we’re not a faceless leisure centre.
Swimbrite was built on personal relationships, friendly teaching and genuine care for every swimmer who joins us. From your first enquiry to your first lesson (and every milestone after), we take the time to get to know you and support you properly.
Many of the families we teach stay with us for years — starting with baby classes and progressing all the way through to confident, independent swimming.
We focus on confidence first, skills second.
Our lessons are:
Whether it’s a baby’s first splash, a nervous adult learner, or a child working towards their next stage, our instructors meet swimmers where they are and help them progress at a pace that feels right.
Swimming is a life skill — and confidence in the water can last a lifetime.
All Swimbrite instructors are:
Just as importantly, they’re friendly, patient and passionate about helping swimmers feel relaxed and supported in the water.
We also offer specialist support for:
At the heart of the Swimbrite Swimming School office are Hannah McCormick and James Dalzell, who are always happy to help with any questions or queries you may have. Whether you’re looking for information about lessons, enrolment, class times, or anything in between, Hannah and James are here to make the process smooth and straightforward. Friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable, they’re committed to ensuring every family has a positive experience with Swimbrite from the very first enquiry.
At Swimbrite Swimming School, the safety and wellbeing of our swimmers is our top priority. Hannah McCormick serves as our dedicated Safeguarding Officer, ensuring that all children and young people learn in a safe, supportive, and positive environment.
If you have any safeguarding questions, concerns, or would like further information, Hannah can be contacted in confidence at hannah@swimbriteswimmingschool.co.uk. She is always happy to help and provide guidance where needed.
We keep our class sizes small so every swimmer receives the attention they need.
Smaller groups mean:
This is especially important for younger swimmers and those who need extra reassurance.
Our lessons run seven days a week across carefully selected venues in Leeds and Bradford, all chosen for their warm water, clean facilities and easy access for families.
Venues include:
All venues include free parking and appropriate changing facilities.
Whether you’re booking your baby’s first lesson, helping your child progress, or starting your own swimming journey, we’d love to welcome you to Swimbrite.
